As finals week loomed and stress levels soared: the De-Stress Fest arrived just in time, offering two weeks of fun-filled activities to help students unwind and embrace the holiday spirit.
Organized by the Student Association, De-Stress Fest featured a variety of events aimed at giving students a much needed break. Events ranged from “Cookies & Cuddles with Miss Daisy” on Dec. 5, where students could “de-stress” with our beloved therapy dog, to “Cereal Bar & Special Study Hours” at Perkins Library on Dec. 12, where the library stayed open late to help students catch up.
Param Bhakta, a freshman from Neb., attended Cookies & Cuddles and shared, “I had an absolute blast. I love dogs, and it really helped me forget about all the stressors weighing me down.”
Similarly, Peyton Wallace, a freshman from Colo. who took part in Bronco Boost on Dec. 13, said, “this was exactly what I needed. I had an exam that morning and was looking for a pick me up.”
Once again, De-Stress Fest proved to be a campus favorite, providing students with a well earned break before finals. With its mix of relaxing and holiday themed activities it has become a cherished tradition on campus.
