Hastings College students are set to dance the night away as the campus prepares to host its second annual Glow Crazy provided by Operation Glow and HC Student Engagement.
The party takes place in Kiewit Gymnasium on April 3 at 9:00 p.m. UV paint, a laser show, face glow, and a free concert will all be available to students attending the event.
Sophomore Maria Merkel from Denver, Colo., said, “I’m most excited for the crowd and how people get excited for the party. I also love the fluorescent colors from the paint.”
The dance will include special effects including intense visuals and powerful sounds to bring an immersive rave experience to our very own campus. Junior Paige Wilcoxon, a member of Student Engagement, from Omaha, said, “Last year, Foam Frenzy incorporated special effects with UV-reactive foam to create a high-energy atmosphere. This year will be just as energetic but with UV-reactive paint instead.”
Leading up to the event students can meet in the Hazelrigg Student Union to “Gear Up For Glow.” On March 25 from 6:30-8:30 pm, students are encouraged to paint their custom glow crazy t-shirt before Glow Crazy. Supplies are limited, and shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Join HC to celebrate Glow Crazy, an event focused on bringing students together for a night of live music, bright lights, and so much more.
