Honoraries on Campus Recognize Several Students

On Wednesday, April 30th, several students were recognized for their outstanding work by honoraries on campus. The honoraries on campus are ways for students to get involved on campus and beyond while showing their academic excellence.

The Nebraska Alpha Chapter of Alpha Chi is an honor society that includes junior and senior students in the top 10% of their classes. Their rewards are as follows:

Outstanding First Year Student: Ann Boise

Outstanding Sophomore Student: Grace Hartman

Outstanding Faculty: Casey Molifua

Pi Kappa Delta is an honor society that requires any forensics activity, including debate, oral interpretation, and extemporaneous speaking. Their rewards are as follows:

Outstanding First Year Student(s): Margie Osorio Barrios and Avery Usher

Speaker of the Year: Bri Narick

The Phi Omega Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta is an honor society focusing on Aristotle’s three ingredients, Ethos, Pathos, and Logos, and its students are recognized for outstanding academic achievement in communications studies. Their rewards are as follows:

Outstanding Communications Study Scholar: Vince Byrne
